Community Standards

MyShare is built on the idea that real connections come from authentic sharing. Our Community Standards exist to ensure that every user feels safe, respected, and free to express themselves. By using MyShare, you agree to follow these standards.

1. Authenticity

MyShare is a place for real people and real moments. To maintain this authenticity:

  • Use your real name and identity. Impersonation of others is not allowed.
  • Do not create fake accounts, bot accounts, or multiple accounts for deceptive purposes.
  • Share genuine content that reflects your real experiences. Misleading or manipulated content designed to deceive others is prohibited.
  • Do not engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior, such as artificially inflating engagement or spreading misinformation.

2. Safety

The safety of our community is our top priority. The following are strictly prohibited:

2.1. Violence and threats

  • Threats of violence against individuals or groups,
  • Content that glorifies, celebrates, or promotes violence,
  • Instructions or encouragement to commit violent acts,
  • Content depicting graphic violence, except in the context of raising awareness (with appropriate warnings).

2.2. Self-harm and suicide

  • Content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide,
  • Graphic depictions of self-harm.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out to local emergency services or crisis support organizations. We provide in-app resources to connect users with help.

2.3. Dangerous organizations and individuals

  • Content supporting or praising terrorist organizations, hate groups, or criminal organizations,
  • Recruitment content for dangerous organizations,
  • Content that promotes or supports organized criminal activity.

3. Respect

3.1. Harassment and bullying

MyShare does not tolerate harassment or bullying of any kind. This includes:

  • Repeated unwanted contact or messages,
  • Threats, intimidation, or targeting individuals with intent to humiliate or degrade,
  • Sharing private information about others without their consent (doxxing),
  • Creating content specifically to mock, ridicule, or harass other users,
  • Encouraging others to harass specific individuals.

3.2. Hate speech

We do not allow content that attacks people based on their:

  • Race, ethnicity, or national origin,
  • Religion or religious beliefs,
  • Sexual orientation or gender identity,
  • Disability or medical condition,
  • Immigration status,
  • Age, or any other protected characteristic.

3.3. Privacy

  • Do not share personal information about others without their explicit consent,
  • Do not share intimate images or videos of others without their consent,
  • Respect the privacy settings and boundaries of other users.

4. Content guidelines

4.1. Nudity and sexual content

MyShare is not a platform for sexually explicit content. The following are not allowed:

  • Pornography or sexually explicit material,
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery,
  • Sexual solicitation,
  • Any sexual content involving minors (this will be reported to authorities immediately).

4.2. Illegal activities

  • Content promoting or facilitating illegal activities, including drug use, sale of illegal substances, weapons trafficking, or fraud,
  • Content that depicts or encourages criminal behavior.

4.3. Intellectual property

Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not post content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights without proper authorization.

4.4. Spam and deceptive practices

  • Do not send unsolicited messages or content,
  • Do not use the platform for unauthorized commercial activities,
  • Do not create misleading content or scams,
  • Do not artificially manipulate engagement metrics.

5. Minors

MyShare is committed to the safety of young users. Additional protections apply:

  • Users must be at least 13 years old to use MyShare,
  • Content that exploits or endangers minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities,
  • Adults may not initiate inappropriate contact with minors,
  • We apply additional privacy protections for users between 13 and 17.

6. Enforcement

We take violations of our Community Standards seriously. When we identify violations, we may take the following actions:

  • Content removal: We will remove content that violates our standards.
  • Warning: We may issue warnings for minor or first-time violations.
  • Temporary suspension: Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary account suspension.
  • Permanent ban: Severe or repeated violations will result in permanent account removal.
  • Legal action: We will report illegal content and activity to law enforcement.

7. Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates our Community Standards, please report it through the in-app reporting feature. You can report content, profiles, or messages directly. All reports are reviewed by our team, and we take appropriate action based on our findings.

8. Appeals

If you believe your content was removed or your account was restricted in error, you can submit an appeal through the App. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
